High Points: In the month of November every year, the Pushkar Fair (Pushkar Camel Fair) attracts people from different parts of the country and world to this town which borders Thar Desert. The fair is about selling and buying activity of multi-day livestock like cattle, horses and goats, with cultural festivities that paint the town with happiness. The town is popular for Pushkar Lake, which is a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats. It is also popular as a pilgrim site for having one of the temples dedicated to Lord Brahma (the Creator of this universe) —Jagatpita Brahma Mandir which dates back to the 14th Century.Pushkar has many museums and palaces that are quite interesting.

F&B: Pushkar offers sumptuous kachoris,paneer tikka,poha,malpua,dal baati,flattened rice, jalebi etc.Various restaurants offer regular Rajasthani dishes all around the town. There are some good hotels and resorts, and restaurants that offer delicacies from India as well as other parts of the world.

Connect: Pushkar is about 140km from Jaipur (nearest airport). However, one can connect easily with Pushkar from Ajmer which has a railway station i.e., 30-minute away. Several trains connect Ajmer from Delhi, Mumbai and other cities. Also, Ajmer and Pushkar are also connected well with road routes from different cities.
