The fair is about selling and buying activity of multi-day livestock like cattle, horses and goats, with cultural festivities that paint the town with happiness. The town is popular for Pushkar Lake, which is a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats. It is also popular as a pilgrim site for having one of the temples dedicated to Lord Brahma (the Creator of this universe) —Jagatpita Brahma Mandir which dates back to the 14th Century.Pushkar has many museums and palaces that are quite interesting. However, one can connect easily with Pushkar from Ajmer which has a railway station i.e., 30-minute away. Several trains connect Ajmer from Delhi, Mumbai and other cities. Also, Ajmer and Pushkar are also connected well with road routes from different cities.
